The 14-day Manaslu Circuit Trek takes you through one of Nepal’s most breathtaking and less-traveled routes. Journey through deep river valleys, Tibetan-influenced villages, and alpine terrain as you circle Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), the world’s 8th highest peak. This trek offers a perfect mix of adventure, cultural discovery, and natural beauty—culminating in the epic crossing of the Larkya La Pass (5,160m).

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through hills, rivers, and villages to reach Machhakhola.

Follow the Budhi Gandaki River past waterfalls, forests, and scattered villages to reach the gateway of the Manaslu Conservation Area.
Overnight: Lodge in Jagat.
Walk through narrow gorges, suspension bridges, and charming villages with mountain views beginning to appear.
Overnight: Lodge in Deng.
A scenic trail through dense forest and stone staircases leads to the culturally rich village of Namrung.
Overnight: Lodge in Namrung.
Enter the Tibetan-influenced highlands; enjoy first glimpses of Manaslu and stop at ancient monasteries.
Overnight: Lodge in Shyala or Lho.
Arrive in the region’s largest village nestled below Mt. Manaslu. Explore yak pastures and chortens along the trail.

Birendra Lake (easy & scenic)
A short walk through barren landscapes and mountain views leads to a Tibetan refugee village.

A gradual ascent to the last stop before the big pass. Stunning mountain views all around.

The most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Cross the stunning high-altitude Larkya La Pass and descend to a glacial valley.

Descend through alpine meadows and rhododendron forests into a warmer climate and lush valley.
Overnight: Lodge in Gho or Tilije.
Final trek day, joining the Annapurna Circuit trail. Celebrate the successful trek in the vibrant village of Dharapani.
Overnight: Lodge in Dharapani.
Scenic drive back to Kathmandu, passing through mountain roads and terraced landscapes.
