Overview
The Mardi Himal Trek is a 6-day journey that begins and ends in Pokhara, taking you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the Annapurna region. This moderately challenging trek reaches a maximum altitude of 3,900 meters at High Camp, offering stunning views of the Annapurna range, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, and the iconic Mt. Fishtail (Machapuchare). The trek starts with a drive from Pokhara to Kande, followed by a hike to Pothana via the Australian Camp. Over the next few days, you’ll traverse dense rhododendron forests, pass through traditional Nepalese villages, and enjoy the serenity of less-crowded trails. The trek also provides a glimpse into the rural life of Nepal, with accommodations in local tea houses and lodges along the way. The best time to embark on this trek is during the spring and autumn seasons, when the weather is clear, and the views are at their best.
