We begin our journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadhi. After completing immigration and visa formalities, we cross into Tibet and meet our Tibetan guide and driver. A short drive brings us to Kyirung for overnight rest.

A full day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can take a short hike or explore the surrounding village. Hydration and rest are essential for a successful journey ahead.

We continue our journey through the vast Tibetan plateau, passing scenic spots like Peiku Tso Lake, nomadic settlements, and high passes with views of Shishapangma, Langtang Himal, and Gaurishankar. Cross the mighty Brahmaputra River (Yarlung Tsangpo) before reaching Saga.

Today is a long but visually rewarding drive. We pass through small towns like Zhongba and Paryang, with glimpses of snow-capped mountains in the distance. As we approach Lake Manasarovar, enjoy the first sacred views of Mount Kailash and the historic Chiu Monastery.

Spend the morning meditating or walking along the serene shores of Lake Manasarovar. After performing spiritual rituals, we drive to Darchen, the base for the Mount Kailash Kora. Prepare for the trek the following day.

tart the first day of the Mount Kailash Kora (circumambulation). Walk alongside Buddhist pilgrims through the Tarboché Valley, past the Yam Dwar (Gateway of the God of Death), and up to Dira-Puk Monastery with stunning views of the north face of Mount Kailash.

This is the toughest but most spiritual day. Cross the sacred Dolma La Pass at 5,670m, where you'll find Gauri Kund, a lake revered in Hindu mythology. After a steep descent, continue to Zuthul-Puk Monastery, associated with the great sage Milarepa.

Finish the last leg of the trek and meet your transport at Darchen. Begin the drive back to Saga, reflecting on the life-changing experience of the Mount Kailash Kora.

Retrace your route back across the Brahmaputra River and through the high Tibetan plains to Kyirung.
Overnight: Guest House in Kyirung
After clearing immigration at the Nepal-Tibet border, drive back through the lush hills to Kathmandu.

Required Documents & Tibet Visa Information
To ensure smooth visa processing and border clearance for your Mount Kailash Tour from Kathmandu, please prepare the following documents and note the latest visa requirements:

- Passport Copy:
Submit a clear scanned copy of your passport at least 30 days prior to your intended travel date. This is essential for initiating the Tibet Travel Permit process. - Original Passport:
Carry your original passport when you arrive in Kathmandu, as it will be required during the Tibet Group Visa application at the Chinese Embassy. - Passport-Size Photo:
Provide one recent passport-size photo with a white background, front-facing, without glasses, and with a neutral (non-smiling) expression. - Visa Application Form:
Complete the Chinese Visa Application Form before your arrival in Nepal, or upon arrival with assistance from our team.
Important Notice Regarding Tibet Group Visa Procedure
As per new rules and regulations issued by the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, please be advised of the following:
- A minimum of 5 travelers is required to apply for a Tibet Group Visa.
- The visa processing in Kathmandu requires submission of your original passport and takes approximately 3–4 official working days.
- All members of the group must enter and exit Tibet together with the same itinerary.
