Overview
The place Poonhill is a mountain situated at a height of 3150 m just near the Annapurna ranges. The Annapurna 1st 8091m, the Fishtail 6993m, and the Dhaulagiri 8167m are visible from this point very well. At the moment of sunrise, the White Mountains change their colour slightly to ink/golden.. The trek is not much difficult; all the normal trekkers can do this easily. On the trail there are tea houses (local lodges) to stay at and restaurants to have lunch at. The temperature in this region gets as low as -8 degrees Celsius. In the warm season, it gets better, like 8-10 degrees. So some warm clothing is enough throughout the year.
